I am not a great philosopher, nor am I a great software developer. However, I do try to do the latter. I intend to write about nifty things I do in class/at work. These things will also be accompanied by code snippets. That's what makes it fun.
Just as a brief introduction, here are the relevant bits of my life story:
At the age of 7, I began teaching myself QBasic. I used QBasic until I was 16, at which point my dad taught me VB6. I used QBasic and VB6 until I was 21, at which point, I began teaching myself VB.Net. I continued using VB.Net until I was 23, at which point, I began teaching myself C#. I dropped out of grad school and got a job working with BASIC, T-SQL, ASP.Net (which I learned on the job) and VB.Net. During my tenure at that job, I also learned a bit of JavaScript and began working with HTML5. I was also introduced to Linux around that time. Since then, I have started back to school part time and have learned Java and am learning MIPS. Fun stuff.
Thus ends the post.
